Overview
Lycanroc [Single Strike] from Chilling Reign has pretty good attack, Rouge Fangs. This attack has 80 base damage and does 10 extra damage for each Single Strike Pokemon in your discard pile. So, this means Lycanroc [Single Strike] deck works well with cards that allows you to discard card from your hand since Roge Fangs damage will be incrased as you discard Single Strike Pokemon from your hand.
However, it is not really wise to put too many SIngle Strike Pokemon in your deck to accumulate 300+ Damage for Rouge Fangs. Doing so, this will definitely cause your hand to brick most of the time. So, it is better to aim for around 160 Damage and you will be able 2HKO most of your opponent's Pokemon.
To use Rouge Fangs, you only need to 2 Fighting Energy and It is not really hard to set up 2 Energy for Lycanroc within 1 turn as long as you have suitable cards in your deck.
Energy Set Up
By using Houndoom [Single Strike] Ability, Single Strike Roar, you will be able to attach 1 Single Strike Energy from your deck to Lycanroc [Single Strike]. If you managed to set up at least 2 Houndoom [Single Strike], you will be easily launch an attack using Rouge Fangs.
In addition, Single Strike Energy not only provides Fighting Energy for Rouge Fangs also provides additional 20 extra damage. So, you will be able to increase Rouge Fangs damage by 40 if you attached 2 Single Strike Energy to Lycanroc [Single Strike]. And with Single Strike Roar Ability, attaching Single Strike Energy to Lycanroc [Single Strike] will be a piece of cake.
Since you are only allowed to put 4 copies of Single Strike Energy in your deck, you need to recycle those cards. Otherwise, there will be not enough Single Strike Energy for your other Lycanroc [Single Strike]. You can use Urn of Vitality [Single Strike] to put 2 Single Strike Energy from your discard pile into your deck.
Discarding Single Strike Pokemon
There are a number of ways to discard Single Strike Pokemon from your hand to increase damage for Rouge Fangs. Among them, Tower of Darkness [Single Strike], Quick Ball and Professor's Research. The first 2 Trainers will allow you to discard 1 Single Strike Pokemon from your hand while Professor's Research will allow you to discard entire Single Strike Pokemon from your hand.
In addition to discarding Single Strike Pokemon, these Trainers also help you set up your bench and increase draw power of your deck.
